Available from IDM Instruments Pty Ltd® Mark-10 have unveiled their new 90° Peel Fixture, to be used within the packaging and other industries, alongside their Motorised Test Stand.  

The work table for the Peel Fixture includes mounting holes, to accommodate a range of sample sizes. 

The work table moves horizontally while the test stand crosshead moves vertically, thereby maintaining a 90° angle between the table and the direction of pull.  

This fixture is designed for applications in the packaging and food and beverage industries. Typical applications include the testing of adhesives, films, and packaging, such as foil seals found on yogurt containers, juice containers, and others.  

A limit switch can also be used as an option, which stops the motor on a motorized test stand when the slide has reached its end of travel, thereby preventing cable breakage, due to excessive movement.
