An introduction to plastics

Plastics manufacturers, sales people, wholesalers and end users are invited to a plastics introduction and training course run by the Australian Institute of Packaging and Australian Industry Group on Tuesday October 16th in Melbourne.

The course takes a clear, non-mathematical approach to plastics, identifying its raw materials, syntheses, applications as well as discussing its manufacture and properties.

It will also look at key processes such as injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding and thermoforming polymers.
