The Evolution Awards seek to recognise and reward success in packaging waste management and reduction, as a way of increasing awareness about the need for all packaging suppliers and users of packaging to minimise their impact on the environment.
Environmental stewardship will be key throughout 2008, as Australia faces up to the issues that affect it.
An easy way to be recognised for your team’s successes is to enter the 2008 Packaging Evolution Awards, coverage of which will appear in each issue until the winners have been announced, both in the magazine and online at www.packagingmag.com.au.
Entering the Awards program is a great way to stand up and be recognised within the packaging industry, and will result in considerable free editorial for the company.
Once entries are in, a panel of eminent industry judges will decide on the winners.
Winners will be presented with their awards at a Gala presentation in the second half of the year.
Packaging looks forward to hearing about the industry’s good work in the area of packaging waste management, using fewer resources, recycling, reducing the weight of packaging and any other bright ideas being implemented out there that it doesn’t already know about.
