The countdown for the largest biennial packaging and processing machinery, materials and associated technology exhibition for Australasia, AUSPACK has begun with less than four weeks until the exhibition opens.

With hundreds of exhibitors under one roof showcasing over 900 brands, AUSPACK will be held from Tuesday the 16th through to Friday the 19th of June 2009 at the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park.

The theme for AUSPACK 2009 is 'The future of packaging and processing- Innovation, inspiration, results' emphasising the key benefit this event can deliver; the opportunity in just four days to meet agents, distributors and thousands of potential customers.

According to Mr Rob Keen, Event Director, Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF), visitors will have the opportunity to gain insight in to everything from automated processing machinery, robotics, mixing and batching equipment, product identification solutions, quality process and ancillary equipment, plastics extrusion, powder and liquid fillers, shrink wrap packaging machines and much much more.

“AUSPACK is the one exhibition designed to bring together all industries," Keen says. "Regardless of whether you come from food, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, medical or wine; there is something for everyone.”

AUSPACK 2009 will not only showcase a significant number of new, advanced and leading products and technologies from all areas of packaging and processing, but will also bring together leading experts from around the globe for the four day event.

“Many of the exhibitors will bring international experts across to AUSPACK, providing our visitors with a unique opportunity to spend time with them and find out about their solutions,” Keen says.

“AUSPACK attracts visitors from not only Australia, but also New Zealand, South East Asia and other international locations. With more exhibition space, more companies and more products on display in 2009 we are looking forward to bringing the industry a fantastic exhibition.”

AUSPACK is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging Machinery Association, Australia’s only national packaging and processing machinery organisation.
