Entries are open for the Pharmaceutical Packaging Action Award proudly sponsored Colorpak category in this year's 5th Annual Packaging Magazine Evolution Awards.
Launched in 2006 by Reed Business information, the Packaging Magazine Evolution Awards recognise and reward brand owners for excellence in packaging waste management.
To be eligible to enter the Pharmaceutical Packaging Action Award category your company or the nominated company must be a brand owners that is a signatory to the National Packaging Covenant, with an approved Action Plan.
The Pharmaceutical Packaging Action Award recognises and rewards brand owners that have best demonstrated a commitment to packaging waste management, and best outlined in their Action Plan how they will:
1. minimise environmental impacts from the disposal of used packaging;
2. conserve resources through better design and production processes; and
3. facilitate the re-use and recycling of used packaging materials.

How long have you been a National Packaging Covenant signatory?
Please provide the reasons you believe your company’s approach to packaging waste management, conservation and/or recycling should be regarded as leading the industry, with 2-3 specific examples of any best practice or benchmarks.
Describe the packaging waste management, conservation and/or recycling project or transformation you wish us to consider:
What was its brief, scope and objectives
What were some of the challenges and issues that arose? How were these overcome?
What are the project’s positive environmental outcomes?
What business benefits have been achieved? (eg monetary savings, space efficiency, longer shelf life, lighter weight packaging etc)
(optional but highly regarded) Please provide any statistics that support the beneficial environmental results or outcomes of the project
