Flint Group focuses on packaging industry

FLINT Group is strengthening its supply and service position to the packaging industry with the acquisition of ink manufacturer, Torada.

This acquisition is the third step of Flint Group to foster its expansion in Eastern European and Middle Eastern markets.

“We are delighted about the agreement with Torda. The company’s business model and performance is an excellent fit for our strategy,” President of Flint Group’s global Packaging and Narrow Web division, Dirk Aulbert said.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of March 2010, subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
