Heidelberg Australia and New Zealand (HAN) has announced the opening of its new Melbourne Head office.

Following two years of planning, analysis and consultation HAN anticipates the move to its new Australasian head quarters in Melbourne on October 15th, 2007.

The new office will be located in Notting Hill, in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. The site will also house a new Print Media Academy (PMA), a state-of-the-art demonstration and training facility.

The new PMA will not only showcase HAN equipment, software and systems but will also be a place to meet, network and learn.

The 1000 square metre will include showroom space for presses and post press equipment, a pre press prinect suite, café, and training rooms with up-to-date audio visual services and fully integrated connection of mechanical, electrical and electronic services for equipment.

According to HAN’s, the relocation is a result of wanting to be closer to customers as well as being an excellent proposition securing HAN’s cost base moving forward.
