Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently supplied an inline checkweigher to a Victorian organic recycling company specialising in processing animal by-products.
The Accu-Check inline checkweigher is manufactured in Adelaide by Accuweigh and can be engineered to suit client’s specific checkweighing requirements.
The inline checkweigher is being used for ensuring correct weights on a range of blood and meat meal products that are packed in 25kg to 35kg capacity filled bags. Bags are delivered to the inline checkweigher from an existing bag filling process at a rate of up to ten (10) bags per minute.
The conveyor of the inline checkweigher incorporates a variable frequency drive to enable the checkweigher to be synchronised to the belt speed of the existing bagging line.
The inline checkweigher has a comparator light tower (red/amber/green) and is also fitted with a reject relay function.
The operator display of the inline checkweigher indicates all required checkweighing information including the number of bags in each of the weight categories (under, over and correct weight) passing over the checkweigher.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weigh packaging group with branches in all mainland states providing after sales support on inline checkweighers, metal detection equipment and x-ray food inspection systems.
