The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has established a 25 years of membership award for its members with John Nickless, MAIP receiving inaugural recognition at a recent Victorian Branch event.

According to Mr Craig Wellman MAIP, National President of the AIP, the new 25 years of membership award is designed to recognise and acknowledge long-term members of the institute.

“The AIP National Board would like to extend its congratulations to John who has achieved 25 years of membership to the Institute and many more years of dedicated service to the Australian packaging industry.”

“John joined the AIP in 1973 after attending a packaging training course and has held a variety of roles in the packaging supply chain.

"He is currently representing Innovia Films Asia Pacific as its Regional Account Manager and as an ardent campaigner for sustainable packaging materials we have been fortunate to share in his association with the Institute on the many instances that he has addressed our members, imparting knowledge and experience in this realm,” Wellman says.

“The AIP is proud to bestow the inaugural 25 Year Membership Award to John and we look forward to his continued contribution across the industry.”
