New chairperson for AIP Victorian branch

The Victorian branch of the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has welcomed a new chairperson.

Elke Schoellhammer has agreed to take up the role of branch chairperson for 2010-11.

Former branch chairman, Ralph Moyle has welcomed Schoellhammer‘s enthusiasm and leadership.

“Under Elke’s leadership, the AIP Victorian Branch will remain an attractive organisation to the younger packaging technologists in our industry,” Moyle said.

Schoellhammer came to Australia as part of her work experience program for her degree in packaging from the University of Applied Science in Leipzig. She joined National Foods as an assistant packaging technologist in 2009 and was allocated the milk business segment as her area of responsibility before recently been promoted to packaging technologist.
