As the largest biennial packaging and processing machinery, materials and associated technology exhibition for Australasia, AUSPACK continues to be the place where companies launch new and innovative products to the Australasian packaging industry.
The event in June will see many new products launched including the new laser coder from Thermal Coding Australia and some new enviro products from Sancell.
Thermal Coding Australia is launching the new Macsa iCON small character laser coder at AUSPACK 09.
According to Peter Cumberlege, Sales Manager for Thermal Coding Australia, the iCON laser has been specifically designed for small character coding applications, currently being coded by inkjet coders.
“The iCON laser is being offered at a price lower than existing inkjet coders allowing manufacturers to make the change to a reliable and no consumable form of coding," Cumberlege says.
"It is reliable and easy to use and because it has no consumables, offering a very low cost-of-ownership with none of the existing downtime and maintenance issues currently experienced with inkjet. It is clean, leaves no mess and has no solvent emissions.”
The iCON laser takes full advantage of Macsa’s 25 years plus experience in laser technology.
“For too long people have wanted to use laser for the small character coding but have been put off by its cost," Cumberlege says.
"Because iCON has been specifically designed for the application its lower cost and very competitive price allows for the change.”
