With only one month to go before the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) biennial National Conference, it has been announced that 36 speakers will be present covering a range of topics.
To be held 16 – 17 June at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Victoria, the AIP National Conference is designed for both personal and professional development and offers networking opportunities with like-minded packaging experts. The conference is open to both members and non-members and is ideally suited for the food, beverage, manufacturing and packaging industries.
Keynote speakers include: Liz Hulbert, head of replenishment at Tesco UK; Jonathan Reeve, operations development manager for Coles; Nigel Garrard, president of Amcor Australasia; Mike Okoroafor, vice president Packaging R&D for HJ Heinz Co USA; Keith Chessell FAIP, packaging technical specialist at Cadbury; and Rod Evenden, general manager-private labels for Woolworths Limited.
International Speakers include: Thomas Schneider, vice president of the World Packaging Organisation; and Asma Siddiqi of Euromonitor International. In addition to the conference, there will be a number of exhibition stands allowing the delegates the opportunity to meet with packaging suppliers and find out what new products and innovations are available in Australia.
