Packaging automation duo at Foodpro

Packaging Automation (UK) Ltd, a world leader in the design and manufacture of packaging equipment, is exhibiting two of its top selling, high quality tray sealing machines at Foodpro 08.

Amongst the company's display, which it will be showing in conjunction with its distributor MPI Australia, is the Vision 400.

This fully automatic, high speed tray sealing machine offers atmospheric, MAP-F, MAP-V and high oxygen flushing, making it suitable for a wide range of meat, poultry, vegetables, and convenience foods.

The Vision 400 is capable of sealing plain or printed film to CPET, APET, aluminium foil, polypropylene, PVC and board.

It combines simplicity and flexibility with a maximum speed of 21 cycles per minute and is in use throughout the food industry - with customers impressed by its compact dimensions, two minute tooling changes and advanced control systems.

To complement the Vision 400, Packaging Automation will also be showing its popular PA182 semiautomatic hand turned rotary table machine.

Amongst the features that have boosted the PA182's popularity worldwide are its reliability and robust design resulting in reduced downtime and ease of use.

Trays up to 100mm deep can be accommodated and tools can be changed in just two minutes.

The PA182 is a popular choice in the food industry, thanks to its ease of use, making it an appealing choice for those upgrading from manual solutions.

The open construction makes the machine very easy to clean, so the highest possible hygiene standards can be maintained.

Packaging Automation's PA182 is particularly admired for its operational efficiency, flexibility and ease of maintenance.

It can carry out both atmospheric and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), with upgrades to the latter also easily achieved after installation.

The company's sales manager, Neil Ashton who will be attending the show says Packaging Automation has been successfully selling into the Australian market for a number of years via its distributor MPI.

"Building on this success, the company is now stepping up its marketing efforts and will be for the first time exhibiting two of its best selling machines," Ashton says.

"Foodpro offers an excellent opportunity to meet with end users of tray sealing machines in a growing market and to demonstrate our expertise and the quality of our equipment."

The company's tray sealers and filling machines are used extensively throughout the UK and more recently in Australia and Africa by a wide range of leading food companies."
