Packaging training course

The Australian Institute of Packaging urges members of the packaging industry to book their seat for the packaging specifications training course, held on November 20 in Melbourne.

The half day course will be presented by Professor Harry Lovell and will focus on the preparation and role of specifications across a variety of packaging materials.

It will primarily look at the role of specifications relative to the supplier and user, examining different types of specifications from basic purchasing specifications to the more comprehensive requirements involving machinery performance.

Ancillary requirements including delivery formats, storage, QC data and coding will also be discussed.

This course is ideally suited to sales representatives, purchasing officers, production supervisors, technical and QA staff who are involved in writing and checking specifications in the packaging industry.

Time: 12.30pm arrival for a 1.00pm commencement
