Sustainable packaging

Earthcycle, a sustainable packaging manufacturer, has unveiled its new produce packaging.

The company specialises in packaging made from the renewable resource palm fibre, which composts in less than 90 days.

Earthcycle designed new produce containers in response to clients demands to pack a wider assortment of fresh produce using sustainable materials.

“Earthcycle’s packaging is an ever evolving process,” Earthcycle president Shannon Boase said.

New packaging

Earthcycle’s latest packaging designs are ideal for a wide range of fresh produce, including squash, apples, pears, peaches, peppers and zucchini.

The compostable produce packaging is currently available at all major natural and organic retailers in Canda and the US, including Whole Foods, Safeway and Wild Oats.
