The patented Tstix® package has been awarded bronze by a jury of 25 which selected just six 'best of the best' packages as finalists in the WorldStar Packaging President’s Award.
The WorldStar WPO World Packaging Organisation awards attracted more than 224 entries from 32 countries around the world. This year, the Awards were presented by President, Mr Keith Pearson from South Africa, at a glittering awards ceremony in Mexico City.
Tstix® is the ‘no mess’ alternative to teabags, pods and pyramids — made in the form of a stick pack with over 1100 micro perforations in its sides, Tstix® eliminates the need for a spoon for stirring.
There are no strings, tags or staples involved. The directions are also very simple — ‘just stir it’! The Tstix package comes in two forms - metalised silver and transparent through which you can actually see the tea.
Tstix® is an Australian invention, made possible through the international collaboration of an association of partners - Tstix in Australia; Josef Blazek in the Czech Republic; Schwarze-Automation in Germany; Alcan in France; Amcor in Spain, and Wista in Germany, with agents for the invention in countries including Europe, the USA, Egypt, South Africa, India and Indonesia.
For companies in the tea and coffee markets, the Tstix® package represents a new more stylish alternative to traditional teabags and spooned coffee.
The package is available to companies under a Licensing Agreement from the Tstix company.
