Reinforcing Visy’s commitment to sustainability in business and the wider community, Visy has appointed a new Group Environment and Sustainability Manager, Ros Dent.

Ms Dent joins Visy after a 13-year career working with the McDonald's restaurant group where she was Environment Manager for McDonald's Australia and NZ, the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

She sat on McDonald's global environment council and on its worldwide sustainable supply chain committee, which has only five representatives globally.

Ms Dent was previously on the board of the Buy Recycled Business Alliance of Australia, a not-for- profit organisation dedicated to encouraging businesses to buy and use recycled content products and materials.

Visy Director of Sustainability, Tony Gray, says: “Ros will bring a wealth of experience and a strong market-focussed perspective to Visy's significant environment and sustainability activities at a time when sustainability is growing in importance for Visy and our customers.”
