The Autokap®1400 Fully Automatic Bag in Box filler from Rapak is capable of filling 2 litre to 20 litre bags at rates of up to 17 bags per minute.
Products such as wine, olive oil and dairy products can be handled by this versatile filler with very high accuracy (+/- 15 grams a on a 5 litre fill).
For oxygen sensitive product, a nitrogen purge using a patented fill piston keeps residual oxygen levels in the filled bags to a minimum.
The piston mechanism also allows any drips present to be vacuumed, keeping the bags clean and dry after filling.
The Autokap® 1400 can be supplied with an integrated bag into box loader where the bag is separated from the infeed web after filling.
Bags follow a simple flow through path through the filler, preventing any creasing or folding of the bags during filling.
The Autokap®1400 is controlled via a simple touch screen panel. Intuitive step by step instructions make it easy for operators.
All functions and sequences are fully automatic and alarms and interlocks guarantee both operator and process security as they ensure the filler is cleaned and sterilised prior to production.
If any door is opened, the filler automatically stops.
The bag loader is integrated under the filler for saving of space, while box indexing and loading controls are included with the loader.
The loading chute lowers into the box for consistent and simple loading.
Chutes are available in custom sizes to suit a particular process or application and meet all US, CE, UK and Australian electrical standards.
In addition, the bag loader uses either Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC, Festo pneumatics and is IP65 rated.
