Hot Melt and Packaging Systems (HMPS) has joined forces with Oystar Jones, a manufacturer of packaging machinery based in Covington, Kentucky, USA.
The agreement will give both companies access to new markets, new products and new customers and both parties seemed exceptionally confident about the deal.
A great deal of time was spent to research that the companies would be compatible and would deliver mutual success.

The Meridian XR Beverage Multi-packer is one of Oystar Jones’ exciting range of products according to HMPS’s Mark Emmet.

The Meridian XR Beverage Multi-packer can be configured for bottles or cans, which can process up to 300 packs per minute. Its speed and flexibility to run virtually any commercially available paperboard or corrugated cartons provides an integrated packaging solution.
The Meridian XR Beverage Multi-packer is made in ergonomic stainless steel, which reduces maintenance and cleaning time.
Operators can easily perform changeovers in 30 minutes or less, with this automated packaging equipment, and programmable change points are recalled with a single selection of a touch screen.
Other features include a walk-in frame utilising interlocked sliding guard doors with a separate glue disconnect keeping glue warm when machine is powered down.
There are individual lane lockouts in the infeed which accurately control product flow to ensure complete packs during startup or runout.
