Developing environmentally-friendly print and apply system inks is among the key goals of Markem-Imaje’s dedicated 300-member research and development team.

According to the company, removing halogen-related substances in the ink used by industrial ink jet printers to mark electric wire cables will improve the safety of workers and recycling-linked operations.

Markem-Imaje’s halogen-free inks are available in a variety of colours including black, white, red and brown. They are appropriate for use in all types of industrial ink jet printers and bar code equipment sold by Markem-Imaje in Australia and New Zealand.
