Following the success of the 1st generation VEGA Shrink-Wrap machine, which has seen approximately 800 units installed worldwide, Ocme will showcase the new generation VEGA Shrink-Wrap Packer at Drinktec.
Design improvements include:
- Production energy consumption reduced by 20% and by 38% at start-up, which has been achieved by the inclusion of a new low consumption shrink tunnel and high efficiency motor drives resulting in a reduced carbon footprint
- Improved accessibility for operators and maintenance; with full vision safety guards, and a rail mounted sliding control panel for operation along the length of the machine
- Improved access for maintenance of components by placing belts in the film feeding ramp, and the belt in the film wrapping section on extractable trolleys
- Plug & play configuration — electrical panels are mounted on the top of the machine and cables are pre-connected for a faster set-up.
- Fully automatic size change — individual motorized belts in the selection area with zero pressure feed.
- An operator interface with self-learning features
VEGA’s range of shrink-wrap packers is available for film only, film + pad and film + tray packages and a range of speeds from 30 to 450 packs per minute.
