PERFECT Packaging has introduced a rotary pouch filling and sealing machinery for the pet food industry, which can be used to package products in stand-up or resealable pouches.
From Korean company, Leepack, the rotary pouch filling and sealing machinery has been designed to handle pre-made pouches.
According to Perfect Packaging, the machine operates by picking up an empty pouch stored in a magazine before transferring the pouch into grippers. The machine then opens the pouch and fills it with product. The pouch is then transferred into the chamber for vacuuming. The machine then seals and cools the top seal, finally discharging the filled and vacuumed pouch.
The company said the demand for re-sealable packaging is new to the pet food industry, but the rotary pouch filling and sealing machinery provides a unique opportunity to meet consumer demands for quick, easy and re-sealable packaging.
