Label Power Announces the arrival of the Primera LX900 Colour Label Printer into Australia. LX900 produces short-run full-colour labels faster and with increased print quality.
Label Power Pty Ltd, a leading printer distributor and label manufacturer, today announced the Australian arrival of the new Primera LX900 Colour Label Printer.
The LX900 is Primera’s fastest-ever inkjet colour label printer.
It produces labels at speeds up to 4.5” per second — almost 17 times faster than Primera’s best-selling LX810 colour Label Printer (for comparable print quality).
Separate ink colour cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black keep operating costs low since only one colour at a time needs to be replaced.
The semi-permanent print head utilises all-new technology to produce razor-sharp text, brilliant graphics and the most photo-realistic printing ever offered on a dedicated short-run label printing device.
James Malone, Label Power’s managing director says, "We told Primera USA what the Australian market wanted from a short run full colour label printer in 2010 and we are glad that they have worked hard to develop this exceptional machine."
According to Mark D Strobel, Primera USA vice president of sales and marketing states, the LX900 establishes a new industry standard for print speed, print quality and low operating costs.
"We listened carefully to our users," he says. "They told us that faster printing and separate ink tanks were the most important new features we could offer.
"At the same time, they weren’t willing to sacrifice the excellent print quality they were getting from their existing Primera color label printer. LX900 delivers all of this and more.”
Typical applications include product labels for coffee, wine, water, bakery, confectionery, meat, cheese and hundreds of other specialty and gourmet foods.
LX900 is also ideal for private labelling, test marketing, pre-press proofing, industrial product hazardous goods marking and retail labelling.
Printer drivers are included for Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X 10.5 (or higher) along with easy to use label design software for Windows.
Most other popular graphic design programs for Windows and Mac can also be used to design and print labels.
Label Power offer a large range of compatible paper and synthetic substrates for use with the LX900 including our Photo Quality Water Resistant Permanent stock.
Printed labels are highly water, scratch, smudge and tear-resistant. Water-resistant paper labels are available in high-gloss and matte finishes.
Custom made photographic tag stock is also available.
Label size is as small as 19mm (.75”) wide and 19mm (.75”) long up to a maximum of 203.2mm (8”) wide and 609.6mm (24”) long.
